Hitachi Extends Aid to Cyclone Victims in Myanmar
Tokyo, May 14, 2008 — Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT / TSE:6501) today announced Hitachi Group companies have decided to donate a total of 10,000,000 Japanese Yen to support victims of the cyclone in Myanmar and to assist in the restoration effort in the affected areas. We would like to convey our deepest sympathy to the victims along with our sincere wishes for a speedy recovery.
