Launch of Hitachi Asia Ltd.’s Job Management Partner 1 (JP1) Version 12.6 (V12.6)

An Integrated Systems Management Solution that helps to overcome the complexities of business operations

Singapore, January 31, 2022 - Hitachi Asia Ltd. today announced the launch of its latest integrated systems management suite, JP1 Version 12.6, which promotes the digital revolution of companies through the optimisation of business processes.

“JP1 V12.6” enables the visualisation and automation of business processes by integrating operational processes in an IT environment, in real time. This facilitates quick decision making by enabling users to grasp the whole business situation from a higher perspective, thereby contributing to improve business efficiency across various areas.

Enhance feature to support Microsoft Azure services

JP1/AJS3 can seamlessly link on on-premises jobs with jobs on multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments and enables you to grasp and centrally manage the execution status. Previously, we have supported Amazon Web Services (AWS) services, V12.6 we provide the features to control Microsoft Azure services, such as Microsoft Azure's Storage service (Azure Blob Storage) and Workflow Service (Azure Logic Apps). Previously, you had to create scripts to control the operations on the cloud services from JP1/AJS3. Right now, you are not required to do it anymore.

Support large-scale environments

The maximum number of devices that can be managed by JP1/ITDM2 has been extended from 50,000 to 300,000. This enables centralized management of JP1/ITDM2 even in a large-scale environment that could not be previously managed.

Enhanced Desktop as a Service (DaaS) Support

Currently, JP1/ITDM2 can integrate and manage PCs in on-premises environments and in DaaS environments. This allows all the PCs to be centrally managed in JP1/ITDM2 without referring to the individual administration console of DaaS services. In addition to previously supported Amazon Workspace, Azure Virtual Desktop (non-multisession edition), V12.6 also started supporting Azure Virtual Desktop (multisession edition).

Hitachi JP1 Version 12.6 will be available in ASEAN from Hitachi Asia Ltd., and authorised value-added resellers from January 31, 2022.
