Key Challenges

  • Being in the printing, production and distribution business for over 3 generations, they had an outdated system which was manual and disintegrated.
  • Their existing system was not tailored to cater to their growing requirements and production needs. There was a lack of real-time information for finance, inventory, sales, purchasing, and production. Most importantly, there was no formal system with control points to capture an overview of the company’s operational costs.
  • There were numerous human errors and duplicated entries as their accounting system was a standalone system. Critical task such as selling price, cost computation, inventory reporting were all done manually which can be tedious especially when their business is growing in more than 30 countries.
