outlook adopted be it with reference to work , play or social
interaction.
As the single most important asset of HCPM, Hitachi recognises
the need to constantly upgrade the skill of its workforce in a bid
to sustain its status as a major player in the industry. Personnel
are thus regularly sent to Headquarters in Japan for training and on
return , practice and impart their knowledge as well as skill to
their peers and staff.
The welfare of the
personnel is also constantly placed in the forefront. Medical
facilities , hostels together with a sports
and recreation centre are developed for this
purpose. Also recognising the fact that
productivity lies in the rapport amongst staff, HCPM
organises activities to foster ties
amongst staff of all levels in the form of recreational
pursuits and company functions. By these
interactions, unity is cultivated through the basic Hitachi
management policy of harmony, sincerity and the pioneering
spirit.
