Since it was incorporated on
17 May 1980, Hitachi Consumer Products Malaysia (M) Sdn Bhd has become a
major supplier of key electronic components to the global
Audio/video market.
To date, it has already produced more than 200
million pcs of these high quality components namely, Colour
Deflection Yokes, Flyback Transformers, and Electronic Tuners.
During these years, our products are found in homes in more than 60
countries, providing the technology for the brilliant colours that
entertain millions of Colour television viewers all over the world
everyday.
HCPM is a supplier of these components to all the
well known Colour TV as well Colour Monitor brands around the
world.
Apart from the major activity of manufacturing,
HCPM has facilities to perform design and engineering work. Several
new products have been solely developed at this plant and marketed
to customers all over the world, whilst many more have been done by
technical collaboration with our parent company in Japan. We take
pride in producing these high performance products with the high quality
and reliability standards that are recognized by ISO 9001, 14001, UL,
JIS and other International bodies.
HCPM's workforce of about 800 employees are made up of mainly
Malaysians, Indonesians and Japanese.
