Hitachi UAG Elevators have adopted a gear-less traction machine and the latest Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) technology to reduce the capacity of the motor and other electrical equipment, resulting in substantial savings in energy costs. With this technology adopted, it provides a quiet and comfortable ride on Hitachi UAG Elevators.

UAG Elevators also feature a longer travel height unlike hydraulic elevators, which are limited to 21m.
