The Hitachi Young Learner’s Initiative (HYLI) 2022 will be held in Singapore from July 18-21, 2022. High-level country selection panels will choose 32 top student delegates to represent their countries at the program. The students will attend a series of plenary sessions, workshops, discussions and activities culminating with group presentations on their proposed initiatives for a sustainable future.

The 16th edition of HYLI 2022 is designed to further develop the student participants’ perception and understanding of how social innovation can help in adapting to the new normal, realize a sustainable society and improve the quality of life in the region.

At HYLI 2022, delegates can expect to:

• Learn more about the following subthemes
  1. Good Health and Wellbeing
  2. Clean Water and Sanitation
  3. Affordable and Clean Energy
  4. Sustainable Cities and Communities
• Create an Infographic about their country to understand more about the issues they are facing in their represented countries
• Have fun and meet like-minded youths.
